Paul Grogan is senior strategic adviser at the Daffodil Centre, a cancer research joint venture between Cancer Council NSW and the University of Sydney. Paul’s current role is advising on research strategy and prioritisation, including horizon scanning, program evaluation and opportunities for collaboration across all areas of cancer control. Paul has been involved in Australia’s National Bowel Cancer Screening Program since its introduction in 2006, co-authoring the program’s initial Commonwealth-funded communications strategy framework in 2008, serving as an independent adviser on the federal Program Delivery Advisory Group for 12 years and overseeing final delivery and NHMRC approval of Australia’s 2017 Clinical practice guidelines for the prevention, early detection and management of colorectal cancer.
