Mr Glenn Austin, MHSc (by research), BHMSc, Dip Teach, is a Manager of the Cancer Screening Branch of Queensland Health. Glenn is currently leading the Strategy, Policy and Planning Unit which has primary responsibility for designing, implementing and evaluating interventions to increase participation in the three cancer screening programs. Glenn has an extensive background in public health/health promotion of over 20 years and has worked in both a research and policy/practice roles in numerous sectors including, government, non-government and primary healthcare. Glenn’s research has focused on implementation science and specially the external validity of proven interventions and how we can increase the reach and adoption of these at the population level. Glenn has a number of publications and national and state awards as outcomes of previous project work.
