In July 2024, the Australian Government announced that people aged 45-49 can join the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program and screen for free. A BCSA research collaboration is conducting a survey to evaluate the Barriers to Bowel Cancer Screening Scale and to assess predictors of bowel cancer screening in this age group. The team is now conducting an analysis of the data.
